On April 28, 2025, we successfully completed the Corporate Carbon Footprint Calculation and Management Training organized at Özyeğin University in cooperation with the White Goods Suppliers Association (BEYSAD), TÜSİAD, and Özyeğin University, within the scope of the Industry 4.0 Competence Center Project conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and with the contributions of the climate technologies company Carbon Gate.
What did we learn in the training?
- Scope 1, 2, and 3 emission classifications in accordance with the GHG Protocol
- Data collection and calculation methodologies
- Sectoral applications and case studies
- Strategic carbon management and action plan development
- Integration of environmental responsibility into business strategies
This training perfectly aligns with the mission of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) MIDAS project, of which OzUBEX is a consortium partner, to accelerate the green transformation processes of SMEs and ensure compliance with European Green Deal standards. Through this program, industry professionals not only enhanced their individual competencies but also took significant steps toward preparing their organizations for a sustainable future focused on twin transformation.
