Represented by more than 150 centers across Europe and five centers in Türkiye, this innovation network is leading the digital transformation of the industry. İHKİB likens the project’s structure to an “electric power distribution grid.” Just as hundreds of cables deliver power to different points, MIDAS provides SMEs with the digital services they need under a single roof, showing them exactly where and how to connect. From training and funding opportunities to testing and mentoring, a wide range of support is offered.
In this project, İHKİB collaborates with esteemed institutions such as TİM, İHKİB Digital Transformation Center, Sabancı University, Marmara University, Özyeğin University and OzUBEX Industrial Transformation Center, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, Istanbul Development Agency, and ITU Arı Teknokent.
The project’s launch event took place on May 5, bringing together representatives not only from the textile and apparel sectors but also from various other industries. As services began to be rolled out, Digital Maturity Assessments were carried out for 16 companies using the DMA tool developed by the EU. This allows SMEs to receive a short preliminary report in just a few hours, showing their current digital standing. The digital maturity assessment is the first step for companies to access ADIM services. When needed, expert teams within the consortium can also provide more comprehensive assessments, detailed roadmaps, and tailored guidance—helping companies access the consultancy and funding opportunities they need.
As a project partner, İSTKA plays a key role in supporting companies benefiting from ADIM services under the “access to finance” component. Additionally, apparel companies are encouraged to explore İSTKA’s “Local Development Initiative Program” announced for Istanbul. ADIM also offers significant opportunities for strengthening the service capacity of İHKİB DDM and supporting its integration into international collaborations. Through this project, DDM’s technological infrastructure and skill sets will be enhanced, enabling it to play a more active role at the international level. The quality of services offered by DDM will improve, further increasing its contribution to the digital transformation journeys of SMEs.
