We were highly pleased to host Istanbul Kent University at our OzUBEX Industrial Transformation Center, which operates with the vision of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) MIDAS project.
During their visit, we had the opportunity to provide a comprehensive overview of our center’s founding approach, our technical and machinery-equipment infrastructure, and the application areas that support the digital and green (twin) transformation of SMEs in the manufacturing industry. We engaged in a productive exchange of views, particularly focusing on:
- Our technological infrastructure and operational model, designed in accordance with the “test-before-invest” principle of the MIDAS project
- The transfer of knowledge and field experience we have gained throughout our development process regarding the establishment of a similar structure
- The wider dissemination of good practices that will strengthen the innovation ecosystem
We believe that such valuable engagements strengthen the transfer of expertise between institutions, tangibly contribute to the digital transformation ecosystem of the industry, and lay a strong foundation for potential collaborations in the future.
