Organized in collaboration with OzUBEX and digiMODE, the Additive Manufacturing and Digital Transformation Event is being held to support the digital and green (twin) transformation processes of SMEs in the manufacturing industry, in line with the vision of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) MIDAS project.
Addressing the latest developments in additive manufacturing technologies, their application areas, and the sectoral opportunities they create for SMEs, this event is open to all stakeholders aiming for transformation in production technologies. It aims to provide a comprehensive learning and collaboration ground through expert presentations and hands-on sessions that will increase the digital maturity of SMEs.
During the event, Yashar Sardroudi, Mustafa Sevimli, and Ömer Faruk Kocaoğlu will also deliver presentations and share insights related to their areas of expertise.
Reflecting the “test-before-invest” approach of the MIDAS project, the program will provide a broad spectrum of knowledge transfer, ranging from the fundamental principles of additive manufacturing to advanced process management, material and technology selection, post-production operations, and sustainable design-oriented approaches compliant with the European Green Deal principles. Furthermore, interactive workshops and a panel session with the participation of industry representatives will offer participants a valuable environment for interaction.
The event will conclude with a networking and photoshoot session, allowing participants to develop new collaborations within the digital transformation ecosystem.
